The Commercial Series is designed to provide a lifetime of use – no matter what you throw at it.
The Gold Medal Commercial Series Chair is the most recent addition to the Gold Medal line. This chair features the comfort-shaped armpads of the Classic Series and a reinforced leg rack with a design similar to the Contemporary Series. This leg rack features thicker wood, larger dowels, and 1/8″ thick steel brackets to reinforce the joint between the legs and seat rail. This chair will provide years of trouble-free commercial use. Features footrest for seating comfort. Two coats of finish ensure lasting beauty. Please note that while we encourage you to enjoy your Gold Medal Director’s Chair anywhere you choose, these chairs are not outdoor furniture. As such, they should not be stored outdoors or left outdoors for prolonged periods of time. Doing so will probably ruin the finish and will certainly void the manufacturer’s warranty. If you use your chairs outdoors they should be returned indoors and away from direct sunlight when not in use. Seat measures 24″ from the floor when in use. Weight limit: 350 pounds. Features a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Ships within 3-5 business days. Allow an additional 2 business days for custom embroidery and printing. Rush shipping is available.

Fantastic product! Excellent quality! Almost bought a cheaper version but after reading the reviews, I opted for The Chair Store version. Customer service was great! I would definitely recommend buying from this company. I would post a pic of the happy guy seated in his director’s chair who received this as a birthday gift if your review form allowed it.

overall excellent, one problem I had was that clear satin finish on the arms is still sticky, it seemed like it never “cured”. I am going to have to sand and shoot clear myself.

This was for a school playground monitor who is having mobility problems. Couldn’t stand without support and couldn’t arise from a 15-18″ seat height. This 24″ seat height was perfect. Great company to deal with, good product, fast shipping, very responsive customer service. This is the second chair we purchased, well made and very comfortable , if you leave them outside constantly, you should coat them with a high quality outdoor polyurethane. I definitely recommend the Chair Store.

This was a total disaster of a purchase! When I received my chair, I could tell that a lot of detail went into making the chair. It was beautiful. However, I noticed that the screws on the side were in wrong. It was noticeable and I also didn’t want it to break. It was clear that whoever looked over it before packaging didn’t do their job. I reached out to customer service about it. She told me they would send a new chair right away. A week or so later, she asked if I would accept new screws in case it broke. Which was interesting because in the previous email she said a new one would be shipped right away. I let her know I was expecting a new chair that wasn’t made incorrectly. A week or so later she asked me again if I had shipped the chair. I had sent a picture of the chair so they could see it was made incorrectly. This was horrible customer service!
Our order was not delivered by the in-hands date even though I had called to confirm prior to ordering. We had to fight with them to get them to ship them overnight-air at their cost even though they admitted it was their error. Then received the canvas back printed in the wrong color even though it was noted on both the initial order and discussed again after they sent it wrong in the proof. They said they would send new canvas backs printed correctly and still have not received. A very poor experience. I hope they make it right and send the new backs as promised.
